What do I do if I no longer want to use DLS MD Portal?
App unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open.
My DLS MD Portal app unexpectedly quits, stopped responding, or won’t open. (Check app between each step)
a) Restart the app. (Close and reopen app)
b) Restart your device. (Turn your device off, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on)
c) Check for app updates in the Apple “App Store” or Google “Play Store”.
- Make sure that your device is using latest operating system version.
- Open the Apple “App Store” or Google “Play Store” and tap Updates.
- If updates are available, tap Update next to the app.
- If asked, enter your Apple ID or Google account password.
- It’s best to use a Wi-Fi connection to update the app.
d) Install another app from the “App Store” or “Play Store”.
- Try installing a different app that you don’t have on your device. Find a free app, and remember to use the same Apple ID or Google account that you used to download the app that you’re having issues with to confirm that your device is working properly.
e) Delete and reinstall the app.
- Apple Devices:
- Tap and hold the app until it jiggles.
- Tap the “X” on the app.
- Press the Home button.
- Go to the “App Store” and download the app again.
- Wait for the app to download, then open it from the Home screen.
- Android Devices:
- Open your “Settings” app.
- Tap “Apps” or “Application manager”.
- Tap the app you want to uninstall. You may need to scroll to find the app.
- Tap “Uninstall”.
- Download again by tapping “Menu”, “My Apps and games”, “Library”.
- Tap the “DLS MD Portal” app.
- Tap “Install” or “Enable”.
Why am I receiving notifications for sites that are not my own?
If you have access to multiple sites, by default you will receive STAT & Critical notifications for every site you have access to. To turn off notifications, log into DLS MD Portal, select the specific site, touch the “Settings” button at the bottom of the screen, touch the “Push Notification Filter” and make your selection. Options will be “STAT & Critical”, STAT Only, Critical Only or Off.
